donna and jordana are honored as 'champions for children'...!
donna
and i attended the 'children first- of buncombe county' board meeting
bright and early this morning, where we were honored to be named
'champions for children' for our monthly donations to this amazing
local non profit!! what a way to start our day!
'shopping social'....
well, didn't get here in time to announce what we would have in (many
apologies), however, this shopping social was fantastic, we were able
to send our biggest donation yet to children first, and for that- we
thank you and the children do too...! also thanks to paula brannock-
local silversmith, featured in our store, for joining us, as well as
jewelry sculptress susan sorrentino, and a special thanks to anna lee
our in-store knit/oven goddess for baking (from scratch!) delicious
cookies...!
by the way, post party, we have a lot of really great new merchandise in!

an evening of great company, creativity, and of course completely divine pot-luck eats!
project- we
will create a 'vision board'- collage of sorts featuring- magazine
clippings, your own photos, art, and any mixed media you choose as long
as it pertains to what you want in your future.... be it totally
literal, or more metaphoric, you choose!

WOW !! what
a great night! many thanks to- anna, becca, colette, jenny, and nikki
for bringing some amazing food, fantastic wine, piles of great
magazines, and of course for generally being really great!
such
a good time! the club house had plenty of space for us to stretch out
and really enjoy one anothers boards without being on top of one
another, as well as, lay out our incredible smorgasbord of wine,
cheeses, crackers, strawberries, grapes, chocolates, hummus, chips,
layer dips, and on and on!! ....
it was so nice to work together
and help each other with requests like- 'has anyone come across an
orangutan' and 'i need a wedding, i'm ready!'
thanks so much ladies for such a fantastic evening of fun and foresight!!
